The characters  that frequent sessions and their discussions, musings and ramblings are a constant source of delight and amusement.

The venues are varied and range from kitchens to palaces.

The sessions themselves have atmosphere, politics and drama and then there’s the music  …..

The Session Diary started as an idea some years ago and was put on blogger.com as a local personal diary of interesting items of a humerous vein which others may enjoy. Over the years, I have managed to upset a few people (for which I apologise) and delight many more. There is a following not only in this country but abroad. It’s a bit like a soap opera.

Given that, I have decided along with other rationalisation that it is time it was properly hosted with a proper domain. Please forgive the Google Ads on this and my other sites (Folkipedia and The Mandolin & Banjo Pages) as they are all run for interest and for other people to enjoy and need a modest source of income to pay for the hosting.
